One of my favourite places to visit in Portugal is Belém, in Lisbon. I like Belém because it has many interesting historic buildings and many places to visit.
I always enjoy visiting the Jerónimos Monastery. It’s grand, beautiful and richly-decorated inside. It’s a welcoming place in spite of being so big.. I also like to eat  pasteis de Belém sprinkled with cinnamon. They’re creamy and so tasty!

Another place I like to visit is Sintra. Quinta da Regaleira is a very interesting historic building, a special place with a gorgeous garden.
